Henry and Hannah have graduated from medical school and are preparing for lucrative careers as gastroenterologists, or perhaps podiatrists, when fate intercepts their career trajectories. At the post-graduation party, members of their class and their families suddenly and instantaneously fall ill with a series of maladies, so they turn to their professor. He suggests a direction to take before he, too, falls ill.
So, you must choose, will you be Henry or Hannah? Then, you must enter a point and click world of mystery medical maladies including swimmers ear, chicken pox, hay fever and more, each of which render the victims incapable of clear communication and looking much like their illnesses might suggest. Your task is two-fold. First, you must treat the symptoms of the individuals who come into your makeshift clinic. Then, at proscribed intervals, you must "research" the cause of all of these illnesses, seeking the ultimate cure.

What to do? Follow directions, Dr.!
Fever Frenzy is certainly a frenzy of epic point and click madness. Every patient must be escorted through the expected sequence of events. First, they must be "diagnosed" with a blood pressure machine. Then, you drag them to a bed, preferably one that matches their outfit, earning you a score bonus. After a brief respite, their symptoms reappear and you rush to their bedside (prompt responses help your score) to draw up a prescription, which must be taken to the pharmacy. Soon enough, the prescription must be delivered to the patient, who then begins recovery. Finally, you check the healed patient out of the hospital and change the sheets, ready for the next patient. Simple as that.
But not really. Patients can be, after all, impatient. And if at any point you don't meet their needs quickly enough, their happiness goes down (and if you start out looking like a scarecrow, it might be that your happiness isn't so high to start with) and they will pay you less at the conclusion of treatment. If only we had this choice in our medical system! They could choose to leave you altogether, sticking you with the bill. So be prompt, and keep their happiness meters high.

If all goes well...payday! For the good of mankind, of course.
You are not without weapons in this battle. Obviously, your ability to quickly point and click is you first asset. But you can improve your score by taking calculated risks or steps to allow yourself to double or triple up certain chores. Clean two consecutive beds (with no tasks in between) and you'll get double the score for the second one. Bring medicine to three beds in a row, and you get triple for the third delivery. By playing strategically, you can sequence several patients through a similar pattern and meet the expert level score to advance to the next level.
Additional tricks are available to you at the end of each level. Money you save can be spent for upgrades in your abilities and skills, and completing a series of levels opens up a different matching game altogether. Here, you must match up viruses and complete other tasks to solve the larger outbreak, rather than just treating the symptoms in the ill. After this, you are presented with a choice of perks, which increase your skill or speed, improving your chances for success.

Upgrade often...but you knew that, Dr.
Tip: One of the easiest chores to double or triple up on is delivery of medicinepatients in the beds seem to grow impatient less quickly, and if you have two medicines waiting and drop off a third prescription, you can deliver the two medicines, then return for and deliver the third for maximum score. The easiest time and place to get a multiple is at the end of each board. When your last patient has arrived, a "closed" sign appears in your waiting room. You then know just how many beds you can change and/or leave unchanged. Play your cards right by not changing unneeded beds, and you could end up with a 4x, 5x (which appears to be the maximum) at the end of your board, really boosting your scores.
Fever Frenzy is an engaging point, click, and drag game that offers a high level of challenge and addictive and compelling increases in difficulty.
