Freeverse Software has announced that ranked games of Burning Monkey Solitaire passed the 5 million mark, and Freeverse has awarded a special iPod Mini, personalized with Burning Monkeys hand-drawn by artist Steven Tzé, to a 3rd Grade Teacher in Los Angeles.

You can view the custom iPod (placed, randomly, on their 2004 MacWorld Best of Show and three Apple Design Awards) here.

Freeverse is also happy to announce that Burning Monkey Solitaire 2005 Edition is shipping! The 2005 Edition includes more animations, more jokes and the following new Solitaire games: Up, Cruel, Black Hole and Pile On!

Burning Monkey Solitaire is the hugely popular suite of solitaire card games for Mac OS and Windows featuring joke-telling chimps, singing gorillas, flaming arrows, and flying pigs.

Burning Monkey Solitaire is $24.95 SRP and available at the Apple Stores, Amazon.com and better Mac Retailers. It is also available directly from Freeverse.com.
