Cool Commercials - New on MacOpinion

2135 In this week's Less Tangible on MacOpinion, Marc Zeedar says:

Since the iPhone was announced last January I've been waiting with bated breath to see what commercials Apple would produce to advertise it. Finally the commercials have started and they have been worth the wait. They are impressive.

I figured the spots would be brief and flashy, similar to the classic iPod "silhouette" ads, designed to advertise the iPhone brand ("Isn't it cool?") rather than attempt to explain all its complex functions. After all, there's a great deal to explain: it's a cellular phone, Internet device, and widescreen iPod all in one. Just the Internet aspects could take a long time to explore: email, web browsing, widgets. How do you explain all that in thirty seconds and illustrate the revolutionary new interface?
