3896 Clever Twist announces the release of its "Coffee Spot" application for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Coffee Spot, available in a free "lite" edition and a full paid edition is the first in a planned series of "Spot" applications, allowing users to locate specific items such as coffee, pizza, burgers or donuts with the click of a single button.

Amidst a sea of iPhone applications, "Coffee Spot" stands out for its combination of eye-catching design and extreme ease of use. Where most other location-based applications require multiple steps or frequently unreliable voice commands, "Coffee Spot" requires only one click to find the closest cup of coffee.

Coffee Spot displays a listing of all types of coffee shops, from small Mom and Pop's to large chain vendors. You can map, call, and invite a friend to meet you at a specified coffee shop. Or, if you're a road warrior, add locations to your "Favorites" to find spots you've visited while traveling.
