Chronos LC today announced the release of StickyBrain 3.2, an important update to its all-new third generation note manager for Mac OS X. StickyBrain 3.2 lets users take their notes almost everywhere with the new .mac integration features in addition to class-leading Palm and iPod synchronization. StickyBrain 3.2 is a free update for registered users of StickyBrain 3.

StickyBrain 3.2 lets .mac members back up and restore their notes to their .mac account for 1) safe keeping; and 2) as means to move their notes between multiple computers (one of the most heavily requested features). For example, a user can back up his/her notes to .mac at home before leaving to work, and then restore these notes from .mac to a work computer after arriving at the office. The reverse process can be done before leaving the office. The .mac integration is seamless and easy to use. Users are even able to see which computer made the last backup on .mac.

In addition to .mac integration, StickyBrain 3.2 aims to enhance the user experience with sweeping performance improvements and user interface refinements. In particular, dramatic speed improvements have been made to much of StickyBrain, FlashNote and the system-wide StickyBrain contextual and service menus. More optimizations are on their way. The interface has been simplified by consolidating related features and refining how features are exposed. Exporting notes has also been improved so that multiple notes can be exported to individual files. Further, exported folders with sub-folders now have their folder hierarchy recreated.

StickyBrain is like a really big drawer; users can just throw all their notes and other information into it, then use the powerful Note Viewer to retrieve anything with just one click. Users can now manage their digital notes—from reminders and alarms to pictures, URLs and text. Everything is instantly organized and searchable. StickyBrain will help users increase productivity, save time and gain unprecedented control over their information.

The all-new StickyBrain 3 sports a new interface with Safari-like tabs, has been completely rewritten in Cocoa, syncs to the iPod and Palm handhelds, integrates with .mac, is built on a rock-solid commercial database, features best-of-class text, graphics and links grabbing, includes FlashNote searching, links notes to the Address Book, and much more.

Chronos believes users should have the opportunity to try the software for free before they purchase. A fully functional 30 day trial version can be downloaded from Chronos' website. StickyBrain has been priced at $39.99 and is available directly from Chronos. Registered StickyBrain 1.x and 2.x customers can upgrade to version 3 for only $25. Version 3.2 is a free update for registered StickyBrain 3.x users. It is available for download as both a full installer and an updater.

StickyBrain requires Mac OS X v10.3 and 60MB of available disk space.
