262 Chronos LC today announced the release of iScrapbook 1.5.2, an update to its class-leading digital scrapbook software. The new version adds a much-requested circular text feature and also includes several other enhancement and bug fixes. iScrapbook 1.5.2 is a free update for registered iScrapbook users.

NEW FEATURES

• Circular Text Boxes. Circular text can now be placed on scrapbook pages. Dedicated inspector tools are available for customizing whether the text is drawn inside or outside of the circle and the angle.
• Masks. Made 72 additional masks available for special effects.

ENHANCEMENTS, OPTIMIZATIONS, FIXES

• Fixed problem when a drop shadow was added to a text box that was cropping an image, the entire text box would appear black.
• Fixed problem when a frame was added to a page by double-clicking the frame in the Element drawer, the frame wouldn't be inserted correctly.
• Fixed a problem where images with effects applied would appear garbled at small sizes--only happened under Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard).
• Fixed a problem where page thumbnails appeared distorted or with black lines around them--due to a bug in Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard).
