"A couple weeks ago I mentioned buying a used iBook and I received a few inquiries on the process. People wanted to know how to go about buying used equipment, wondering if it was safe, etc. That got me thinking that I should do a column on the topic.

And I've not just computers -- I've bought and sold peripherals as well: printers, digital cameras, CDR drives, hard drives, and more. I've had mostly success, but a few bad transactions as well.
