796 Baseball Statbook allows you to keep track of baseball or softball statistics. The program was originally developed to take the statistics from a little league game scorebook and enter them into an application so that overall hitting and pitching statistics could easily be generated.

Baseball Statbook could be used for Pony League baseball and softball as well as any other basseball or softball leagues (High School, Club Teams, etc).

Baseball Statbook runs on the following operating systems:
• MacOS X
• Mac OS 8 and 9
• Windows (95, 98, 2000, NT)
• Linux

This program is currently in zero-release stage but that only means more features are going to be added. The program, in its current state, has been tested over the last few months and all known bugs and issues have been fixed.

Here is how Baseball Statbook might help you

With BBStatbook, you first add in team name and roster information. Once your roster is completely filled in, you will then start adding in game information.

As soon as one game is added, you can then view, print and save (as tab-delimited text) reports. Seven reports are currently available:

1. Overall (season) batting statistics
2. Overall (season) pitching statistics
3. Game Results
4. Box Scores (Batting)
5. Box Scores (Pitching)
6. Individual Players Stats (Batting)
7. Individual Players Stats (Pitching)

In addition to these reports, you can create custom reports which allow you to add in custom text or HTML. There are also options that allow you to add header and footer information to your reports.

New in version 1.3:

NOTE: Since there were numerous changes in this release be sure to work on a backup copy of your file in case something unexpected happens.

• New Feature: Added ability to display roster information on Batting and Pitching Reports (Jersey, Age/Date, Weight, Height, Bats, Throws)
• New Feature: Added ability to duplicate reports (all reports except those that contain sub-reports can be duplicated)
• New Feature: Added ability to make a custom report a link to an external web page. This can be done by entering a URL which begins with either "http://" or "https://" in the Name or Link field when editing a report.
• New Feature: Added ability to change column widths and alignments when editing fields
• New Featrue: Added a Fields submenu Reports menu which includes the following items to quickly select/de-select fields: Check All, Uncheck All, Toggle Selected.
• Bug Fix: When entering player information, Tab characters were allowed from a copy/paste and this caused the application to crash unexpectedly when trying to view reports
• Bug Fix: Previewing Reports should now work on Windows builds
• Change: New MasterStyles.css file is created with default values; An old version is renamed "Old MasterStyles.css in case you need to copy over any changed values")
• Change: Modifying Styles has been revamped which includes a description of each built-in style
• New Feature: Web Reports will now highlight the sorted column when a user sorts the table. To disable this feature, remove the ".sortcolumn" style from the Modify Styles... menu item under Reports - Web Reports
• New Feature: Added ability to save reports as HTML, Text (Tab delimited or space delimited) or Excel
• Change: Some layout controls have been moved and/or renamed
