ATI introduces RADEON 9200 Mac Edition; 128MB PCI card

ATI Technologies continues its commitment to support the wide range of Apple users with the introduction of the RADEON(r) 9200 Mac Edition. Designed for to support the large number of legacy systems still in service by Mac users, the RADEON 9200 Mac Edition enables users with older machines to play 3D games with the graphics quality required for these demanding applications.



With a PCI interface and 128MB of memory, Power Mac G3, G4 and G5 users can all experience interactive gaming with the RADEON 9200, which integrates transform and lighting features, as well as Apple only features such as VERSAVISION. Full specular highlights, full scene anti-aliasing, bump and environment mapping and programmable pixel shaders bring innovative, high-end graphics to these popular systems.



With the most extensive lineup of graphics for the Mac market, RADEON graphics is the hardware of choice for Mac users, whether at time of purchase or as an upgrade option. Currently available in the newest Power Mac G5, the RADEON 9800XT and RADEON 9600XT represent the ultimate in superior graphics for the Mac.
