932 Apple sent emails to iPhone app developers today that in-app purchases are now permitted in free apps. Until now, the ability to offer in-app purchasing capabilities as limited to paid apps. comiXology moved quickly to change the price of its Comics by comiXology app to free. The free version of Comics still comes with over 60 quality free comics, plus its exclusive new series Box 13.
