Samsung Galaxy S4 Has Form Over Function Issues
Samsung recently held the launch for its newest smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S4, which will be released nationwide in the coming months. With a host of actors and an elaborate show depicting the new features, many are still signaling that the initial media launch as a flop. Tech Expert Karl Volkman discusses where Samsung went wrong and what the phone needs to be a success.
"The Galaxy S4 boasts a selection of innovative features and standard upgrades, including the larger and higher resolution screen and updated Android operating system," says Volkman of SRV Network, Inc. in Chicago.
"But did the somewhat awkward press announcement blow the upcoming release? While the phone offers updated features, Samsung must strive to have a near perfect release for optimal success. They have a month or so to focus on correcting any glitches to ensure the first users have the best experience possible," continues Volkman. "With a camera that allows users to take pictures from the front and back of the camera simultaneously and a built in pedometer, the new features will wow the technology world. I think that by focusing on the functionality of the Galaxy S4 the release will go well."

Pricing Changes In The Wind For iPad mini
T-GAAP's Mark Reschke says a strange phenomenon is taking place in the world of mobile, with smartphones continue to move to ever-larger screens, while the world of tablets moves smaller. "Will one device rule them all?" he asks. "Not likely. But in the realm of tablets, the iPad mini is taking control of the wheel, while the 10-inch iPad is rapidly taking a back seat. With the torrid pace of small tablet expansion, the iPad mini lineup and its pricing structure won't be far behind."
He predicts a coming shift in iPad mini pricing, with a Retina display model taking the current $329 price point and the non-Retina model carried over (a la the full-size iPad 2) as a price leader at, say, $269.

QuikIO is the simple, fast way for mobile users to view, download and share any media content from a PC or Mac. Now QuikIO is enhanced to stream from all AirPlay enabled iOS devices to Apple TV and is available for early adopters at no cost.

QuikIO is changing how many thousands of consumers access and share their personal content by empowering mobile device users with the ability to instantly access, download or share their media files on their computers through network connections whether by Wi-Fi from home, a hotspot or over 3G/4G.
"QuikIO has rapidly become a #1 download in many countries with tens of thousands of users and growing fans exponentially," says Michael Chen, QuikIO CEO and co-founder. With QuikIO, any PC and Mac user can enjoy video or music on an Apple TV via AirPlay. There is no restriction on the computer's hardware model and OS version.
What sets QuikIO apart from the current AirPlay capabilities on Mountain Lion is that it does not require screen mirroring to view media. QuikIO users can multitask on an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac or PC while streaming content from the QuikIO app to a screen using Apple TV."
Other advantages to using QuikIOs Apple TV integration include:

Sharing files with selected friends and family is easy. Just Quiksend them an invite to allow them instant access to stream or download of a media collection.
