Apple iPhone Releases Version 1.0.1 Enhances Email Capabilities in IceWEB
IceWEB Inc has announced that the latest software update (version 1.0.1) released by Apple for the iPhone platform includes significant enhancements in email capabilities when working with IceMAIL in a Hosted Exchange environment.
Specific email enhancements provided via the update include:
Full visibility of all email folders
Synchronization of "Read" status between iPhone and IceMAIL Hosted Exchange
Synchronization of "Deleted" status between iPhone and IceMAIL Hosted Exchange
IceWEB is recommending that all customers update their Apple iPhone to firmware version 1.0.1 using the iTunes software. IceWEB has published updated iPhone configuration and technical notes information within the support section of http://www.iceweb.com.
The iPhone 1.0.1 firmware also provides performance improvements in the email software as well as several non-email related security updates.
