AOL is back for Mac. AOL is reaffirming its commitment to Mac users with the beta release of a brand new, all-in-one web software, now available for download: AOL Desktop for Mac. The best part, this free new software was developed by Mac users, for Mac users, from the ground up. Your Mac makes your life easy. Make it even easier with the new AOL Desktop for Mac. The beta test for AOL Desktop for Mac may introduce changes to the underlying software and is not recommended for mission critical situations. Fourth Beta build of AOL Desktop for Mac is now available for testing. Check out the Fixed and Known Issues to see what has changed.
AIM Chat is the new, updated chat experience for AOL users. You can now chat with friends using your built in iSight Camera (any QuickTime compatible webcam) and built-in Mac microphone. As a benefit to our Mac beta community, AIM Chat (public beta) is being offered first through AOL Desktop for Mac. Please review the known issues for AIM Chat public beta before testing.
