In a new initiative designed to highlight professional-grade business products available for Macintosh, Apple invited the Hendersonville, North Carolina developer to participate in its series of online seminars. Apple s marketing staff approached company president, Dan Beckett, in October of 2008, about presenting its cross-platform accounting and ERP software application via web cast.
Apple filmed its Seminar Series in San Jose, CA, in December, with AcctVantage Operations Director, Tim Lau, demonstrating the various enterprise-level features and modules of the multi-user AcctVantage ERP platform. The finished presentation is now available online for viewing at the Apple Seminars Online website: http://Seminars.Apple.com/SeminarsOnline/aotmAcctVantage.
AcctVantage has a long history on the Mac platform, says Beckett. As one of the oldest and most established Mac-compatible business software providers in the country, we re thrilled to be included as one of the five applications in the Apple online seminars.
More traditional businesses are choosing to utilize the Mac platform, says Beckett. The challenge is finding software to address the needs of these companies as they outgrow off-the-shelf accounting systems. The Apple Seminar Series presents AcctVantage as an option for growing businesses in a 30-minute video seminar format.
AcctVantage ERP has produced accounting and business management software for middle market businesses since 1987 and was among the first to develop a cross-platform application for both Macintosh and Windows computers. As one of the industry s leading products designed for small to mid-sized businesses, AcctVantage ERP is one of the few professional-grade, double-entry accounting packages to include enterprise-level features that integrate modules for Sales, CRM, Purchasing, Inventory, Accounting, Reporting, and Job Costing.
