4D Inc. Releases 4D v11 SQL Release 1 (11.1) Certified To Run On OS X Leopard

1338 4D Inc., maker of an integrated software platform that speeds up and simplifies the process of developing and deploying business applications, released today the first update of its flagship product, 4D v11 SQL.

4D v11 SQL Release 1 (11.1) is fully certified for Mac OS X Leopard. Developers can now use the latest 4D application to build business applications for the latest version of both Macintosh and Windows operating systems.

In addition, 4D v11 SQL Release 1 (11.1) includes support for the Japanese language in both new and existing databases, as well as in the application interface. This release also includes a new set of commands to help developers analyze and optimize queries, extended support for Unicode that will allow developers to mix different languages in the same application menu, better control over case-sensitivity in the SQL Engine, and better compatibility in the print engine.
