D-Space VFS uses 3D to give you a commanding view of an expansive field where you can see all your files at once with no navigation necessary - the speed of column browsers with the visual appeal and ease of use of icon views. The 3D motif lets you cut through whole levels of nested folders, eliminating a lot of navigation so you can get to files and applications more easily and faster than ever before.
I'm usually a fan of minimalist unobtrusiveness when it comes to program launchers (ie: Tigerlaunch) but I have to admit that 3D-Space VFS is very neat.
