Hey! I just became a member of applelinks and was wondering if anyone has ever purchased an Isis Dei laptop sleeve.  I love their designs but I haven’t heard much about the company or their products for that matter.  Anyone have any opinions? I came across their website last night (http://www.isisdei.com).  Thanks in advance!

I decided to purchase the memory foam Goldfish sleeve.  I will review it once it gets here.

I have had the sleeve for about a month now and almost forgot to write this follow up.  The sleeve is pretty awesome: the memory foam has a cool feel and the case stays on while I use my laptop.  I was kind of expecting silk on the exterior of the case but it is really some sort of metallic silk screen.  One of the coolest features about the product is its construction that allows the computer user to access ports while the sleeve is open.  Isis designed it with the zipper over the screen to be thicker (at first I thought the zipper was off center).  I give the MacBook sleeve a 4.5/5 stars. I would have given 5/5 if the material was easier to wash because my case is already starting to get dirty.  It is definitely better than any other sleeve I have had in the past.  Anyway, if anyone would like pictures please reply to the post; otherwise, I am feeling too lazy to post them since no one has responded anyway.

The neoprene sleeve I bought through the former online
store affiliated with Applelinks; they had that link-through
and some fairly good stuff. And they shipped to my PO Box.
That’s what I want, no FedEx or UPS boxes in a snowdrift…

The NeoCase is almost perfect; zips around the outside,
has hidden handles should one want to carry it; and a
velcro tab that covers the zipped zipper pulls. It is black.
The sleeve stays on the computer when in use, and all
ports, optical drive, etc are available. In a hot climate,
or extended use, I’d recommend removing this product.

Not sure now, if this is still available. Another fine idea,
which I seldom use, was the SlingPack by Incase. Mine
is alot like new, and can hold most of the stuff I’d need.
Between these two products, I could probably drop my
iBook G4 (last model) off a tall building & it’d be OK.

The idea of a harder shell with a soft inside foam is good.

Good luck & happy computing! smile
