uControl 1.3.6b Remaps Modifier Keys, Virtual Scroll Wheel & More [OS X 10.3 up] uControl is a keyboard remapper and more. Meaning, those useless keys can now be reused, remapped, or reduced. Unix hackers will be pleased to remap the caps lock key to the control key. Indeed, that was the reason uControl was originally created; however, it has since evolved into a fairly sophisticated means of not only remapping modifier keys, but providing a virtual scroll wheel for trackpad users, providing real function keys for laptop users, swapping the right and left mouse button for left handed users, and even providing a one handed typing feature for those with disabilities. Note: the one handed typing feature has been removed due to possible patent infringement.

CopyWrite 1.1.4 Project Management Tool For Writers CopyWrite does everything it's supposed to and nothing it's not. Bartas agrees with those who've said that nobody needs another word processor - those are for formatting. CopyWrite is for a writer's project management. Whether you're writing for business or pleasure, a magazine article or the next Great American Novel, CopyWrite isn't intended to be your everything-processor. In fact, it would rather not even try. CopyWrite's primary focus is simply writing. No more worrying over organization and formatting when you should be focusing on creativity. Though CopyWrite boasts a simple interface, it certainly doesn't mean form was sacrificed for function. CopyWrite's flexible interface is one of the things that sets it apart from the rest. Many writers believe word processors have far too many functions that get in the way of their creativity. Juggling between a folder and multiple documents in a separate application is a waste of time. The project browser and notes are in drawers (where they should be) allowing you to open or close them as needed. This, in turn, allows you to concentrate on the primary focus - your writing. Try to search through all the documents in a project (especially if they're in a proprietary file format) and the inefficiency of the process becomes obvious. Writers typically have to open each document, search (or search and replace) in each one, save, then move on to the next. Even if the writer just wants to see which documents contain the search term, CopyWrite eliminates the inefficiency. CopyWrite keeps your notes just where you need them as well - right beside your document. No more endless scrolling or window-switching. Just efficiency. CopyWrite is quite customizable as well. Whether you want to change text sizes and colors for easier readability or customize the categories and status lists to better organize your documents, CopyWrite can adapt to you. Maybe you'd like to store your projects elsewhere or change the highlight color. Maybe the text in the project browser is is too small. CopyWrite will adapt.

CopyWrite is $20.00 shareware -- completely free for small projects. The only limitation in the unregistered version is that users are limited to no more than three projects and no more than five documents per project.
