OpenOSX Announces Panther Compatibility OpenOSX Announces Panther Compatibility OpenOSX today announced complete Mac OS 10.3 (AKA Panther) compatibility with their entire product line, updated their “Apple X11 Launch Items” package to version 1.1 and released a Panther update for their customers not using Apple’s X11 environment. For their customers using Apple's X11, OpenOSX’s “X11 Launch Items” package will create OpenOSX application launch items for X11. For their customers not using Apple's X11 solution, OpenOSX has created a Panther update for their “OpenOSX Office”, “OpenOSX Grass” (for versions prior to 5.0.2), “OpenOSX Gimp” (for versions prior to 1.2.4) and “OpenOSX Xfree" products. OpenOSX Grass 5.0.2 (or newer), OpenOSX Gimp 1.2.4 (or newer) and all versions of OpenOSX WinTel, OpenWeb and OpenDB do not require the Panther update for Mac OS X 10.3 compatibility. The OpenOSX Panther update will install OroborOSX 0.85 and key-mapping files to enable OroborOSX functionality, along with an updated version of the OpenOSX OpenPrint utility for native OpenOSX Office Mac OS X PrintCenter support.
