In what can only be called the most amusingly titled peice of news
this year, Small Fry Studios has announced their upcoming game, "Hillbilly
Whack! Save Winnie May!"
Designed with graphics that look only slightly ahead of the Atari 2600,
Small Fry tells us that "old school graphics plus old school action
equals old school fun." And who are we to argue? Further:
The game features over 14 levels of single play centered around
a Hillbilly named Samuel Jones as he tries to find his lost sweetheart
Winnie May.
Hillbilly Whack! is based on fighting, building up your shack,
and running around at break neck speed, while you encounter lots of
obstacles on your way to Save Winnie May. There's even a two player-one
keyboard mode where two Hillbillies can battle it out against each
other. Whack your friends!
Hillbilly Whack! will ship in the Fall and will be available for Mac
OSX and Windows. Hillbilly Whack! will be shareware." You can find
