Several Mac Web sources have linked to this today, a MacUser UK blurb about the fact that a Honda concept car is using Mac OS X to manage more AV gear than most people have in their homes. But we learned a lot from the article. According to Honda, "Studio E is built around the needs and lifestyle of a club DJ," leading us to think there must be a lot more people in that occupational niche than we had any notion of. And all that equipment: just look at this: ". . .a rolling audio and video studio complete with an onboard personal audio computer for mixing tracks and a 42-inch high-definition plasma screen display." We know a few guys down in Española who'd go wild over this if you could pack it into a metalflake '62 Impala with full hydraulics. Otherwise, just hope it doesn't go into production so your neighbor doesn't buy one. But it uses OS X, all right, the picture proves it. Sometimes we think the Mac Web would trumpet the news if Osama ran it on his PowerBook, but that's the way it goes. (He probably does, you know.)
