We've run across Rob McNair-Huff's Mac Net Journal Weblog before but never stayed long enough to appreciate the full scope of what he offers. That was a mistake, and you might just want to make the blog a regular stop in your daily surfing. We were in the neighborhood today because of a MacSurfer-linked tip about opening Word files in AppleWorks, and then we scrolled and scrolled and scrolled. Good work! In addition to the Word tip, a freeware PowerPoint viewer, a file labeling utility for OS X, top ten freeware picks for 2002, and a firewall tip, today's entries include a note about a possible windstorm on Puget Sound. We think Rob sounds like your editor's kind of Mac person. With a degree in Japanese and international relations, we know he is. To our way of thinking, this is the kind of work we hope to find produced by savvy Mac users.
