We're doing what we can here to clear the decks for early morning reporting on whatever Steve Jobs pulls out of his hat, and your editor just realized that a 9:00 a.m. EDT start for the twice-yearly Jobsian spectacular requires him to roll out of bed before 7:00 a.m. in New Mexico. Yikes!

That's fine, though. We'll be watching the Webcast and posting play-by-play announcements of the latest news well before the speech is finished and then deliver a few well-chosen words on what's just occurred. Esteemed colleague Charles W. Moore will give you all the details, technical specifications, and probably photos to boot, just as soon as they're available. Applelinks' Kirk Hiner and publisher Joe Ryan will be on the scene to give you their personal impressions of the keynote and news from the Expo floor. Later Wednesday evening, yours truly will be on hand to tie up all the loose ends, so be sure to check back.
