Goodbye New York (Photos)

Friday, July 20, 2001

By Senior Editor John H. Farr

You've seen the Expo, now look at the city. These pictures were taken last night and we think you'll enjoy all the neon. If you were at the show and never got out to see the sights, shame on you, but now you can view a little of what you missed.

The joint's jumpin', all right. If this isn't Times Square, just pretend it is. We have no idea, but the sidewalks are full, and that's something you probably won't see after dark most places.

Hey, is he still on? Your editor hasn't watched TV in almost two years, imagine that. We still think a soprano is a lady who can hit all the high notes. Anyway, Letterman fans, that's where the action (?) is.

Sorry, we don't know where this is either, but Joe Ryan does. More bright lights and crowded sidewalks. Hey, did you see THAT?! Sorry. There are all kinds of distractions on the streets of New York. The gang at Applelinks.com hopes those of you who were at the show registered for the free iMac. See you next year! San Francisco, anyone?
