Dialpad Communications, Inc., has announced that it has developed its popular Dialpad World IP telephony service for Mac OS X. Dialpad is the first Internet telephony company to develop a Mac-to-phone product and it debuts at Macworld Expo, July 18-20, at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York. Dialpad World enables Dialpad customers to make calls from their computers to standard telephones around the world for a fraction of the cost of traditional long distance calls. The first Mac version of Dialpad will be available for Mac OS X only. The new Mac OS X client and Dialpad World service are available today by simply registering on Dialpad's site at http://www.dialpad.com. Customers can then select a calling plan and call their friends and family around the world within minutes. Account management tools enable customers to monitor their billing in real-time, and check previous months billing records if desired, or add additional minutes.
