Shiny Macs Up Close at Expo (Photos) By Senior Editor John H. Farr If you like your PowerMac G4s close and in your face, you've come to the right place. Some of the machines in the pictures below look like they've been waxed! (And maybe they have...)  This is the revised desktop enclosure with the much-improved speaker. We haven't listened to it, but others have, and they are very pleased. Just look at this beauty.  The same machine from the rear. How could anyone find fault with this? There is nothing that compares in terms of design or performance. Even the BACK of the computer is elegant and pleasing to the eye. We'll take a dozen, please...  This is simply an iMac with the complete optional sound system on display at the Harman Kardon booth. Stunning, isn't it? And for all the whiners bleating about not having "new" iMacs to drool over, remember that hundreds of thousands of new users continue to drool over THIS gorgeous shape. iMacs may currently account for a small percentage of Apple's overall sales, but people who don't have Macs yet are still snapping them up. We wish we had one. :-(
