Power On Software is saving the big news for after the keynote tomorrow morning, but they let us know that Now Up-to-Date & Contact has had a maintenance release that is available immediately.

Power On Software will be exhibiting at Macworld Expo Booth 1539 this week (directly across from Applelinks Booth 1540) and will be lifting the veil on some of the latest Macintosh technology.

The v4.0.2 update addresses a problem that could occur when printing template lists. Version 4.0.2 is compatible with Macintosh OS 8.6 through Macintosh OS 9.1 and classic mode under Mac OS X, and packages "...an exciting new interface, blazing speed, and incredibly powerful new features."

Now Up-to-Date & Contact version 4.0.2 is available now. The suggested retail price is $129.95, with electronic downloads available for $119.95. Upgrades from earlier versions of Now Up-to-Date & Contact are $49.95, and either purchase automatically qualifies for a free upgrade to version 4.1, the native OS X version due for release later this summer. Users who purchased Now Up-to-Date & Contact after February 15, 2001 will be entitled to a free upgrade to version 4.0.2 by providing proof of purchase from Power On Software or its authorized resellers.
