Macworld Expo Preview Pictures!

By Senior Editor John H. Farr

We have just received some great digital pictures from the Applelinks Advance Team at Javits Center in New York City. Are you ready? Here goes...

These signs are all over the place! An obvious allusion to the "I Love New York" slogan (with a heart symbol in place of the verb), we're not sure how to read this: I Apple New York? I [love] Apple & New York? Hey, either way, it works.

Javits Center is one big building, all right. And if you get lost, just look for the helpful sign. We're not so sure the show people spent enough on graphic design, however. The billboard at the top of the page is much better. This one is so, so...corporate, you know? Safe and bland. Oh well, the real show is inside!

Hey, we know that guy! We'll bet he's been working hard to set up the Applelinks booth (#1540), too. Notice the cool Applelinks.com T-shirts, and especially note that we're giving away a free iMac! All you have to do is walk up to one of the laptops and register. Take a good look at the display: that's where you'll be able to meet real-live Applelinks people and also buy yourself an iClock, if there are any left!
