Applelinks columnist John Martellaro has just sent several close-up Power Macintosh G4 Cube shots we'd like to share with you. Included is a great one of the bottom panel of Apple's latest. Read on...

Notice that the only similarity between the real thing and the published pictures on rumor sites is that we're talking "cube" here. The fakers got almost all the details wrong!

OK, can you play "Guess the Ports"? Our man has labeled this JPEG "cube-back" but we think it must be the underside. Note the anti-theft cable.

In this shot the cute little guy has been inverted and his guts have just been removed. There appears to be a nifty pull-out handle, too. You can see a projected image of the chassis on the screen behind the demonstration (note the AirPort card).
