Both the Lite and Full versions of Webshots Desktop for Macintosh will be entirely free.

Fixed bug caused by dragging and dropping a .wbz file onto the application with image resampling turned on.
Removed June 1st expiration code that was accidentally present in early copies of v1.0.1.
Webshots says that in the four weeks since the v1.0 release, there have been over 100,000 downloads of Webshots Desktop Lite. Webshots Desktop Lite remains the #1 weekly download on Download.com for the fourth week in a row, with more than double the numbers of the #2 application.

Kensington Introduces First Trackball With Scroll Ring Technology
Kensington Technology Group has introduced the TurboRing trackball with a scrolling system designed to make computer input more comfortable and productive. The scrolling system features Scroll Ring technology, enhancing the performance of the traditional trackball with increased speed and control.
A touch at any spot on the ring, which rotates 360 degrees around the ball, enables users to scroll through long documents and Web pages quickly and easily. The ring can turn easily without removing one's hand, increasing the precision of movement. The accompanying MouseWorks software provides seven speed options that allow users to customize the control of TurboRing. TurboRing trackball is available this May for an estimated street price of $79.99.
"TurboRing is the next generation trackball," says Teresa Mahler, senior product manager, Kensington Technology Group. "It combines the newest performance technology with a uniquely sculpted design that provides maximum comfort."
The TurboRing trackball is designed to help users work comfortably. The contours enable the user's fingers to fall naturally on the scrolling ring and buttons. The customizable mouse buttons eliminate unnecessary movements by enabling users to program one-click solutions to repetitive tasks such as open/close and double/click.
Minimum Systems Requirements:
-- PC or compatible computer with USB port running Windows® 98, or
-- PS/2 compatible mouse port running Windows 95, 98 or NT.
-- Macintosh® computer with USB port running Mac OS 8.1 or later.
