Sunday, February 27, 2000
By Applelinks Contributing Editor Brent Hecht
Don Crabb, a Mac pundit loved by Mac fans everywhere, lost the battle with his recent ailments yesterday afternoon.
Don collapsed on December 3, 1999, the day of his wedding. As of a week ago, he had survived surgery related to septic shock and pancreatis. The exact cause of his death is not known.
Besides being somewhat of a celebrity in the Mac universe, Don also wrote for numerous publications including the Chicago Sun-Times, the Springfield-Union News, the NorthWest Arkansas Times, Digital Chicago, MacWorld, MacWeek, PC Magazine, MacTech, MacToday, MacCentral, MacHome Journal, BYTE, and MacUSER. In addition, he wrote multiple books, hosted his own radio show, served as a computer industry analyst, and more.
Our hearts go out to Don and his family.
We'll miss you, Don!
